Dawn Jean Making Class

with Angela

Join us for a highly anticipated fun and skill-building 4-week jean-making class where you’ll create your very own custom-fit pair of jeans! Using the Dawn Jeans Pattern by Megan Nielsen, students will learn essential techniques for working with denim, including fitting, topstitching, zipper installation, and waistband construction.


This class is perfect for confident beginners to intermediate sewists (ages 14+) ready to take on garment construction and build their skills with structured fabrics. This class will fill up very quickly! We will have a waitlist once the class fills out if there are any cancellation.


Class Schedule:

Saturdays | 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM

4 consecutive weeks + 1 make-up class

• Class 1: April 18th, 25th, May 2nd, & 9th

• Class 2: May 23rd, 30th, June 6th, & 13th. 


What’s Included:

• Dawn Jeans Pattern by Megan Nielsen (value included)

12 hours of guided instruction

• Hands-on support in a small class setting (maximum 4 students)

$120 per student

What to Bring:

Students are required to bring:

• Denim fabric (we carry a selection in-store!). Fabric must be non stretch!

• Matching thread (regular + topstitching thread recommended) 

• Denim needle(s) 90/14 or 100/16 sharp or denim

• Jeans zipper 

• Jeans hardware kit (button + rivets – optional but recommended, available in store soon!)

• A small amount of fabric for pocket lining: cotton shirting/calico/poplin

• Mid weight fusible interfacing for the waistband.

• Basic sewing supplies: pins or clips, fabric scissors, seam ripper, marking tool, measuring tape or seam gauge 


Fabric must be pre-washed prior to class, other notions and tool may be purchased after the start of class.


Additional Notes:

Homework may be assigned between classes and is required to stay on track


Revel Topper

This class is perfect for confident sewists ready to refine their garment construction skills while working with light to mid-weight woven fabrics.


Class Details:

Fridays | 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM

April 17 & 24

• $57 per student

• Includes Revel Topper pattern (a $22 value)

• 6 hours of instruction

• Homework will be assigned between sessions

• Max 4 students per class


Recommended Fabrics

Light to mid-weight woven fabrics with subtle drape such as:

• Linen

• Viscose/linen blends

• Ecovero challis

• Tencel chambray

Students must bring their own fabric and ensure it is pre-washed before class.

Baked with Love

Join us for Baked with Love, a fun and beginner-friendly sewing class where you’ll create a heart-shaped oven mitt—perfect for gifting or keeping in your own kitchen. A complete kit is included, so you can simply show up and sew.

Class Details

•Select Which two Thursday classes you wish to attend

• Cost: $25 per class or punch card ($20)

• Kit $25.99: fabric, batting, Insul-Bright, pattern, and pattern template

• Ages 14+

• Maximum 4 students per class

Students Must Bring

• Sewing machine in good working order or reserve a class machine in advance (limited availability)

• Cotton thread

• Pins and pin cushion

• Binding clips (optional but recommended)

• Fabric marking pen

• Seam ripper

• Small thread scissors or snips

• All-purpose scissors (for paper templates & Insul-Bright)

• Fabric scissors

• Point turner

• Machine needles (Microtex 80/12 or Quilting 90/14)

Our kids sewing classes are designed to build confidence, creativity, and foundational skills in a fun and supportive environment. Young makers will learn basic sewing techniques while completing hands-on projects they can feel proud of. Whether it’s their very first stitch or they’re ready to grow their skills, every child is encouraged, guided, and celebrated along the way.
