Non-Woven Single Side Fusible Foam Tricot Covered

This single sided fusible foam from Callie Del® will give your projects lightweight stability and long lasting body.
• Used for crafts, home décor, accessories, tote bags, garments, costumes, placemats and more.
• The flexible foam is sandwiched in between a layer of brushed polyester and a layer of fusible tricot making it easy to handle and easy to sew.
• The fusible side eliminates the need for basting before you quilt your project.
• Use in place of or in addition to other stabilizers for a professional finish to your projects.

Use Instructions:

Note* It’s always recommended to test the product on a scrap piece from your project before applying stabilizer to the entire piece and adjust pressing times as needed.

1. For best results, pre-wash all fabrics without fabric softeners to achieve the best bond of foam to fabric. Foam does not need to be prewashed.
2. Cut foam according to pattern instructions.
3. Protect your work surface to avoid fusing the foam to your ironing board or to your iron with a non-stick pressing sheet.
4. Pre heat your iron to a medium or wool setting with NO STEAM. Use the fabric you’re applying the foam to as your guide for adjusting heat setting on your iron. Foam can withstand the cotton setting on most irons.
5. Layer foam, fusible side up with your fabric wrong side down. Check that all edges of fusible foam are covered before applying iron to surface.
6. Press and hold the iron in place with medium pressure for 10 -12 seconds. Repeat by lifting the iron and placing in the next area, slightly overlapping the first until the entire surface is bonded.
7. After ironing, let the pieces cool before continuing with assembly process.
