100% cotton double-brushed flannel, giving a soft, cozy hand perfect for apparel, blankets, pajamas, quilts, and cold-weather projects. Typical width is 43–44″ (110–112 cm) — similar to quilting cotton flannels.
OEKO-TEX:
Art Gallery flannels are OEKO-TEX certified, ensuring they are made without harmful chemicals and are skin-safe for garments & crafts.
Care & Washing:
Machine wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low heat and remove promptly to minimize wrinkling. Flannels may be washed warm or cold; avoid chlorine bleach and high temperatures to protect softness.
Shrinkage:
Because flannel is 100% cotton and brushed, it commonly experiences slightly higher shrinkage (~5–10%) than plain quilting cotton — pre-washing before cutting and sewing is recommended, especially for fitted garments or precise quilting.
