Create your own comfortable summer set in this hands-on 5-week apparel sewing class.
You’ll work through the Reef Pattern by Megan Nielsen while learning foundational garment construction techniques in a supportive small-group environment.
This class is designed for confident beginners (ages 14+) who are ready to build confidence sewing wearable garments and continue developing their apparel sewing skills.

Class schedule
Wednesdays | 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM
5 consecutive weeks
May 27, June 3, June 10, June 17, June 24
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for setup.

• 15 hours of guided instruction
• Small class size (maximum 3 students)
• Sewing machines available if needed
Cost
$175 per student
Fabric is not included in the class price.

• Quilting cotton
• Linen
• Linen blends
• Other woven cotton fabrics
What to bring
Students are required to bring:
• Pre-washed fabric
• Bust, waist, and hip measurements
• Coordinating thread
• Pins and pincushion
• Measuring gauge
• Fabric marking tool or chalk
• Fabric shears
• Thread scissors
• Seam ripper
We are happy to help with fabric selection and measurements in-store before class.
Skill requirements
Students should know how to thread and operate their sewing machine and have completed a few sewing projects previously.

• Homework may be assigned between classes to keep you on track
